Tommy is for sure in the top ten players. Amazing...
Does anybody know the first singer for sure in that video? At first look, I thought it might be George Highfill who was one of my teachers at the Hank Thompson School of Country Music in 1974 AND 75. George was a great harmonica player and a good singer. He did have a career in the music business and was big in Europe.

Think that was Charlie McCoy Larry ... I'd have to take a bottle of Valium to be relaxed enough to play that fast, but then I'd probably just want to take a nap instead. Think I'm too tense to play fast or hit a driver 300 yards.Larry Jamieson wrote:Tommy is for sure in the top ten players. Amazing...

Here’s a video of her playing steel with the criminally underappreciated band Wild Rose: https://youtu.be/hdbAhSvT9Xg?si=7Y_VsPR6EsliOxu2Jim McGinnis wrote:Wanda, playing fiddle, is a fantastic musician. I saw her in St Louis and she was playing lead guitar. She blew me away. She also played a mean steel guitar.
I can’t recommend going down the Wild Rose rabbit hole enough! I love all their albums.
