I'm sure this must have been posted before,,, but this sure looks like he's playing a 6th tuning on a tele!

Nope. Standard tuning. If you use the top 4 strings, it makes a G6 chord (E B G D high to low). Plus on the DVD, they go pretty quickly into "Little Sister", and Pete is playing the same tele, definitely in standard.
