For those keeping score at home, this steel track was recorded with Stu Schulman's Telonics 206-equipped Desert Rose S10, played through a Roland Cube Street amp run directly from the amp's headphone outputs into the audio interface, using the Roland's onboard reverb. This has become our default steel tracking MO, although I still use the Vibroverb with a decent mic when warranted it's a wonderful thing not having to carry a JBL-loaded combo amp up and down the stairs every time.
