As you promised!
Hey again David! Another gem. The "steel on steel" overdubs are the ticket. Great recorded tone/execution as well. I know how challenging it is to get it right and "in the can". Homemade axe sounds great too! Keep 'em coming. Thanks,RK

Hi Rick thank you for your kind words. It is the easiest steel I have ever played. Glad I spent so much time getting it right. The pedal action is so easy I play without shoes most of the time. I have been trying to get into the C6th side recently as it's easy to drop in to E9th and safety. Also started using both feet on the pedals. Dave

David thanks. You captured the feeling and essence of Eva in this beautiful composition. I 1st heard Eva singing Autumn leaves on a YouTube video years ago and I was hypnotized by her sweet voice and emotional tone. I can say no other female singer has moved me in the way she did. I immediately began seeking her music listening to whatever I could find. Then suddenly she was gone, tragically taken by her illness. It's great to hear her music played with the emotional touch and tone of the pedal steel guitar.

David, I had the luxury of a wonderful understanding wife who let me get all the music I wanted. Those were the days. I have a rather large collection of vinyl, cassette tapes and CDs. These days I rarely visit any of them. I spend too much time on YouTube watching steel guitar videos in the evening. I'm not a TV watcher. So with my tablet and earbuds I quietly pursue my addiction while she watches the boring TV shows. My music room is in the finished basement. I spend a good amount of time there when I can.

I'm not familiar with this song, but David this was really beautiful. Great production and great playing.
