Interesting website of various guitar solos

Post by Larry Lenhart »

I just now ran across this very interesting website that someone has put a lot of time on ! Great compilations of guitar greats like Chet, Neil Levang, Buddy Merril and many others. Includes some steel guitarist too, and this may have been posted about before, if so, sorry for the
repeat.

Thanks Larry. A treasure trove of early and vintage solos there. I could get lost in them for hours.

Jerry, I agree , I can remember watching lawrence welk shows and waiting for Neil Levang and Buddy Merril to play something...and thats when I was a teenager playing lead guitar in a rock and roll band...I didnt dare admit that to the other band members !! I also would have my mom wake me up early so I could watch some rerun show (I dont know the name of it) hoping Chet would pick a tune !! I just recently have been re- working on the old Venture tunes, some I used to play and some I just overlooked...all good music. Thanks and take care!
