Great job Dale. Hearing these old tunes on pedal steel breathes new life into them. I still listen to the Emmons and the Franklin Christmas CDs. Good music this time of year.

Thank you Larry... I find Christmas difficult and fun at the same time.

My lady doesn't care for Christmas music. I have to escape to the basement for that. Playing the tunes on C6 would add a bit of a challenge, especially for me.

Nice job, Dale! Nice, clean execution. That's my key for that song, too.

You seem to play the Ritt more than the Jolly Rancher, or is that just a matter of which guitar is near the camera?

This is the time of year, of course, that Buddy's timeless Seasonal album gets rotation in my car; after hearing his flawless delivery, I'm almost reluctant to try the same tunes!! Eventually I get over it, though. I still can't believe his right-hand on 'Sleigh Ride'!

Andrea LOVES Christmas music and has had it going for a couple months already in her office while she's working... Kids today LOL

Thanks Roger... Think I did this a year or two ago on E9th without a track but in the same key (D) as well. I couldn't find a track I really liked, but found this one on YouTube and then enhanced as best I could in my DAW. I think they did it at 60 bpm which I stuck with after trying it faster.

Yeah I don't think there's any competing with Buddy's Christmas Album, that whole CD is magnificent.

I have been playing The Concord a bit more, but I jump around and am on Jolly Rancher again now. (actually wrote a track on iReal that I wrote for my Mom maybe 45-50 years ago on piano, but no piano anymore so trying to do it on Steel, hopefully before Christmas) I did Silent Night on Jolly Rancher last week and believe Christmas Time Is Here is coming out on Tuesday is back on the Ritt. I'd recorded somethings a few weeks ago I haven't put up yet and don't know what I was playing them on without going and looking LOL
