Love Juniors steel playing. His playing says he has studied the best. Great technique, touch and tone! Junior has been a great pedal steel player for a long long time! And, he is a fantastic kind, wonderful person.

I had just bought an MSA sidekick in 1979 and I'd watch Junior on Saturday mornings. Jim Newton who was a local DJ used to video various bands and show them on his Shootin Newton program. No one knows how bad I wished I could play like he did back then. I still wish I could today.
Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night.
