Being a graphic designer I go to great pains to design blank tab paper for myself and for my students. Go to this Dropbox link, and download this handsome 10-string blank tab paper PDF file.

It features lines for chords as letters, and also as Nashville numbers. I also shade in strings 4 and 8, root notes of open chords, for easier reading in the middle of the page. I even include lines for lyrics, I find that helps in knowing where in a song the licks I'm creating or transcribing belong.
