New 4/4, steel-heavy shuffle, “Do You Wrong”- Tim Bolo

Post by Eddy Dunlap »

I know there’s a lot of complaints about not enough steel in new music or anything leaning toward traditionally influenced/honky tonk style. But I’ve produced a new song for my dear friend Tim Bolo at my new studio I’ve built in my house. Tim is a talented guy and one of the biggest steel guitar fans/supporters. Over the last five years he’s always called upon or had heavy steel in his local gigs here in Nashville. You could catch him at the Local, Robert’s, the Nashville Palace, etc with Robby Turner, me, Bruce Bouton, Lynn Owsley, and many others on steel.(sometimes a couple of us on different instruments at the same time!)

This is the first album I produced at my new place and if you’re looking for a studio to cut some music please stop by and give me a yell next time you’re in Nashville. Tim’s out on the road opening up for Sierra Ferrell on her tour and we’ll will be finishing more new music throughout the year. So glad to include my compadres Dennis Crouch on upright bass(Time Jumpers, Robert Plant/Alison Krauss, Diana Krall, etc) Aaron Goodrich on drums(Colter Wall, Logan Ledger, Nikki Lane, etc.) and me playing steel, electric guitar, tic-tac, and piano. Hope y’all enjoy! :)

Please give him a follow on Facebook and Instagram along with listening to him on Spotify!
