Jimmy Day non-pedal
I never heard Jimmy Day play non-pedal (that I was aware of!).
Mod: feel free to move/remove this if it’s in violation of the rules, or contact me and I’ll take it down.
Thanks!

Well that was 1952, there wasnt a lot of pedals to be found most the time....lol.
But also, Lloyd Green played non pedal some with Faron. You know jimmy and lloyd were roommates early on, and they both were "best man" at each of their weddings.

IF only I remember right, there are pictures of Jimmy Day playing a Fender non-pedal behind Elvis early on at a Louisiana Hayride very early on while Jerry Byrd is on record on Elvis' rendition of Harbor Lights somewhere.
I am in total awe as to how close to Jerry Byrd he sounds on the OP's record!
The ALL played non-pedal: Buddy Emmons, Jimmy Day, Maurice Anderson, Curly Chalker, I believe even Lloyd Green. They were the generation just half out after Jerry Byrd's and you hear JB's influence in most of them.
