Who's playing steel? My latest studio project.

Post by Rick Campbell »

Who's playing steel? It's me. :) Wouldn't take very long to figure out that it's not one of the pro session guys. I'm doing all the music and vocals in my home studio. The last song was a funny one. "Your Wife Is Cheating On Us Again" This one is a sad one about life continuing after the one you love has walked out. "The Hardest Thing I'll Ever Do"

That's great Rick! Did you write that? Good song! You are a top session player as far as I'm concerned. You don't have to play for hundreds of singers to be a top session player. The Beatles made very few records for other singers but they are still considered some of the best session players in history. Keep those great videos comin'!

Thank you David. You're very kind. I got that song from Johnny Bush. I don't know who wrote it. It's been a favorite of mine for a long time.

Very nice and well done, Rick. The steel sounded great and was just what the song called for.
