He sure makes that thing cry. What a master. Glad we have recordings,youtube etc. to keep his legacy alive.

His grandson was at the Texas Show and he is following in Dickeys footsteps. Dickey had a unique style that everyone loves. One man told me he plays the good licks.

Had the good fortune to see and hear Dickey at the Tulsa Steel show in the ’90’s. He definitely played his heart out all over whatever steel he was playing! We’ve lost so many of our greats BUT we still have their music to appreciate and enjoy 👍

I downloaded that, and it's just beautiful for sure.
Always loved his playing and such a pretty sound too.
Listened 3 times and has some of my favorites on it.
