I heard Weldon Myrick play this on one of his records. I am not sure who sang it but Weldon knocked it out of the park.

Carl Smith had a big hit with that song in the 50s, really good. Weldon's version from the Pedalman album is as good as it gets, deceptively simple.

Thank you for the info. We all know Weldon Myrick was a tremendous steel player and his recording was top notch.
