Post by Doug Beaumier »

Just uploaded to YouTube. This is the surf rock version of Perfidia, similar to The Ventures version. Thanks for watching!

Dug
You never cease to amaze me with your ability to get such great sound and as someone said earlier, interpret the songs so well !! And you do so on both lap and pedal steel !!
As a big fan of the Ventures, I enjoyed this a lot !!

Thanks Larry, a lot of us grew up with the Ventures music, and learned to play guitar on their songs. They’ve been called “The Band that launched 1000 Bands”! “Perfidia” is not as well known as “Walk Don’t Run” but it’s always been one of my favorites. Thanks again!

Thanks Manny, I like the look of the unbuttoned shirt with a black shirt under it, but that's just me! :)

Doug,

Just awesome, snappy and on! I’m a big fan of the Ventures and hit every thing that fits on e9 and c6. I was fortunate to see one of their last shows (warming up Brian Setzer’s Christmas Extravaganza) at Universal Studios. I’m thankful for that.

Good stuff!
