Acapella steel version of "Bleak Midwinter"

Post by Eddy Dunlap »

Hope everyone has a happy holiday season and Merry Christmas. I was trying my early Christmas present out from my dear friend Ray Hunt with this beautiful SD-10 Show Pro of his. It's got a prime piece of 350 year old Birdseye Maple from Wayne Cota in Vermont. It's still got his set up on there, but I like the sound of it so much I'm afraid to start messing with around underneath it. Hope everyone has a wonderful 2022!

Wow, that was wonderful! Smooth and controlled playing of the guitar and volume pedal that highlights the unique beauty of the PSG. Thanks for posting!

Thanks, everyone! I'll try and post some more videos/recordings this next year when I get a chance in between gigs.

Beautifully done, Eddy! Clever modulations, suspensions and passing chords.

I'm off to my guitar to find a few of them! :)

Oh man, was that ever lovely! Thank you for your artistry and for sharing that beautiful piece. And for all the years of study that went into being able to play like that. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Eddy!
