WEB Hosted Steel Tracks

Post by Tony Prior »

I shut down my longtime website last year and opened a FREE Hosting site a short time later. " WIX "

While I don't use the site for anything other than "FUN" as it is limited, but it is FREE .

I have a bunch of songs that are Home Studio produced in the Music Player. They are also available for FREE DOWNLOAD if someone decides that they can't live without them ! LOL

Songs are all tracked at my Pro Tools 12 Home Studio, Emmons Steel, Taylor Acoustic, Fender J bass and a couple of different Tele's. BIAB programmed drums and now and then a BIAB Instrument track if its not "annoying or interfering "

All instruments recorded direct thru a couple of different front end preamps.

I currently have a couple of sessions in progress and will add them once completed.

IF you desire to have a listen, the tracks are on the Music Player. There's a couple of video's hosted as well .

Thank you for posting this! That is the best version of In the Garden that I've ever heard! You are truly an inspiration, as I am trying to incorporate the steel in our Sunday morning song services as tastefully as I can. And that's very tasty music you've recorded. Keep em coming, please!

Early 2019 I produced and tracked a 5 song Steel Guitar Gospel CD at my home studio, all 5 of those tracks are now on the Music Player. Newly added - Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.

During the mixing and transferring of the "How Great 2 track", I must have been tired, asleep or preoccupied, it has a couple of mixing / mastering issues. But, all being said and done, I decided to leave it as is. I had a compressor on the two track send bus which was causing overall gain issues. I missed it. The Steel has a bit too much compression going on and the Telecaster track is somewhat under the music. Oh well !
