Pedal Steel Experts directory?

Hello! I've been considering getting someone to overhaul my U12 (E9/B6) to D13, and thought to look for help in my current vicinity in Northeast Kentucky. I know the fine folks on this forum will point me in the right direction but surely there's a database with this sort of info for the future?

Duncan, I know of no directory like you mentioned. This forum is your best bet. Someone will give you their experience with various steel mechanics known on this forum. Some of the steel builders may handle repairs.
Probably get better results under the pedal steel column.
