Couldn't buy a steel gig in Phoenix
I don't believe they know what it is or how it's supposed to be played LOL

Very nice! Great key change during the song.
May I ask a question?
Who was the first musician who had the additional chords in the song? Maybe Leon Russel?
Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube.

Thanks everyone!
I don't know who added the extra 'flavoring' chords.
I know Any Williams had a version on an album in 1959
Joachim, we're going to be picking in Berlin in Feb if you're anywhere close.

Mighty fine playing W.C., I would bet that the gig market hasn't opened back up completely yet and that's why gigs are few and far between. At least you'll be back on the road soon. I've got about 5 gigs booked in the next 3 months, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger.

Thanks, WC. That's a good info about the tune. I think my car is a little to old to make it to Berlin (600 kms). But thanks for the invite.

W.C., we had some great times. I hope and pray that the world can get back to normal soon. It's cool that both of us are still at it. I intend to get out and hear you sometime when you get a gig close by. As the dust settles I'll know more about what's going on club wise in my area and see what I can do about getting you booked here. If you get up to Chi-town or St. Louis, or Indy, I'll try to make it out to hear you. Jimmy Clark has a club near Des Moines, you should get ahold of him. It's great to hear that you're going to get to tour Europe. I have my first steel gig next week. I played my first guitar gig last week with a singer who does a lot of old Jazz Standards and some Blues. It went well and felt good to preform in front of people again. I'll call you soon. I'm optimistic that more and more gigs will be opening up as we get into the summer months.

Thanks Bob!
I'll check the guy in Des Moines, shoot me a contact on him to my email at wcedgarmusic@gmail.com
I'm from Iowa City originally
Trying to hit up some Chicago places too.
Most anywhere that pays a little bit and perhaps a room or two.
Touring as a trio
Stay safe
