1995 SMJ Jimmie Crawford & Russ Hicks 2

Post by Bill Ferguson »

From the 1994 Smoky Mountain Jamboree in Knoxville, TN.

Jimmie Crawford and Russ Hicks were always a hoot on stage together. Their picking complimented each other so well.

Enjoy some superfine steel guitar.

thanks Bill!

love what these two did together, and they kept everyone chuckling in between tunes. Jimmie's Rhode Island Red is one of my favorite steel instrumentals, it was nice to hear what Russ had to say about it re. Big E

Delightful! I never missed a Crawford & Hicks set at the conventions. One of the highlights of the shows for me.

I agree with the above statements. Russ and Jimmy had that magic together and it was mind boggling.
