Jack Beaver

Post by Paul King »

About 3 years ago on a refrigerator repair I met Jack Beaver. I showed him one of my steel guitar videos. He used to live in Tyler, Texas and would attend the monthly meeting down there. Jack did not play steel guitar but I invited him to the Texas Show and he went. I still remember him talking with Sarah Jory in the lobby and I went and said "You just cannot leave the pretty ladies alone". Sarahs response was "You leave him alone". Jack passed this week from complications with pnuemonia and COVID. RIP my friend and tell all them great steel players that have passed on we sure miss them and you as well.

Sorry to hear that Paul. I watched a live stream of my friend's Covid funeral last Saturday. It has taken lots of good people. We all need to stay safe as possible. Hope your wife is feeling well again.

Paul, my condolences to you and your friends family. I have a friend's funeral this Tues. , but I was already booked for my 2nd covid shot. I'm sure my friend would say go get the shot. My brother-in-law is in long term care, slowly improving. I do hate this virus.

Thank you. My wife is much much better and back to being herself. Yes, too many have passed with COVID. This is just terrible the amount of people who have passed on because of this virus.

As your friend talked to Sarah, it reminded me what a nice lady she is.

Please watch this, Paul.

I once was introduced to her by common friends, and she hugged me.
My condolences on the death of your friend.
