Ralph Mooney - 1997 ISGC "Live"

Post by Bill Ferguson »

From the 1997 International Steel Guitar Conventiion.

Enjoy one of the all time greats - Ralph Mooney.

Ralph was responsible for that "west coast" sound on the steel guitar.
Ralph wrote the all time classic hit that crossed the genres of music "Crazy Arms"

Ralph was the driving sound behind Waylon Jennings for many many years.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Just watched the whole thing and it brought a big smile to my face. Ralph has such an unmistakable style, the definition of happy, joyful music. Thanks for posting the video!

Ron, yes that was the young Jenee. Her name was Keener before she married. Now Janee Fleenor. She just won musician of the year CMA awards 2019 and 2020.

I notice the first track is "Miss Hilda". Anyone know where else to hear this song?
