Mick Deacy 'Alfie'

Post by Alan Bidmade »

During a recent house move, I've lost my much loved tab of Alfie, the Bacharach and David classic. This was one of the many superb tabs Mick Deacy posted.
If anyone has a copy - paper or computer file, I'd be overjoyed if they could contact me by PM. I'll happily reimburse postage costs if they could send me a paper copy, or make a donation to the Forum for a computer file - whichever you might prefer.
In anticipation...

I should have specified E9.
I had a kind response from Trey Lambert, but unfortunately he had the C6 tab.
Anyone with the E9 version, I'd love to replace my copy.
In anticipation.

Hi Nick

I don't see an E9th tab for "Alfie" in Mick Deacy's Tab List just C6th.
I don't say he never produced one but I don't have it.

I managed to trash my original list, grabbed from Mick's site, when it was up, but obtained another copy posted by someone on this Forum (forget whom). maybe that's where it got lost?

It should be possible to make up a version on E9th from his C6th arrangement with a fair amount of effort even without access to the back neck.

Seeing as how we look like headeding towards more Covid restrictions, a usful exercise to help pass the time.

Hi Pete
Long time no see.
It was definitely E9. I have never had a twin neck. I had a Sigley pedal installed on my Ben-Rom when I had it built, but I disconnected the rods soon afterwards as I realised that one neck was more than I could manage, so trying to transpose C6 to E9 without a C6 neck is far beyond my capabilities.
Someone out there must have a copy :?: :?: :?:
