for those that knew Charlie, I am saddened to say he has passed. He was a great guy and a true supporter of the steel guitar for many years. He resided in Colorado City Texas.

I’m sorry to hear that Shady. I didn’t know him back in his heyday but always enjoyed him at the WTSGA jams. He was a good ole boy.

Chris is an Americana/country artist with a great podcast interviewing all kinds of interesting artists. My pal Marty Rifkin did tracks and dates for him about 8 years ago.

Hi Shady- Sorry to hear the news of Charlie’s passing. Thank you for letting us know. Charlie was a good guy and loved the steel guitar and in particular, his late 60’s Emmons.. May he Rest In Peace. RP
