William (Bill) Creller

Post by Mike Neer »

Bill was an active and valued member of this community. His love of Hawaiian steel guitar and airplanes, classic cars and steel guitars is shared by so many of us here. He will be missed by all who knew him personally and virtually.

Rest in peace, Bill.

That’s a real shame. My condolences to his family and friends.

I remember a number of his posts here (from my short time here). After I posted about my first steel guitar gig, he mentioned being pleased to see all the Hawaiian tunes we played. Sorry to hear of his passing, may he RIP. Aloha 'oe...

Sad news, indeed. Bill was always a gentleman here on the forum and he was very knowledgeable about Hawaiian steel guitar, tunings, and songs. He was very supportive of my early recordings and very helpful when I was learning about non-pedal steel. Rest in peace, Bill.
