RIP Pete Martell
Long time steel from the Portland, Oregon area. He was very instrumental in my development in my first year of playing. He was retired military just living life, you will be missed my old friend.

Am really sorry to hear about Pete. Pete and I became close friends when I lived in Tacoma Wa. We corresponded some after he moved to Portland. We played a dual steel guitar gig once in Tacoma. Rest in Peace old friend. Lee Gillespie
