Joe Osborn

Post by Skip Edwards »

Sorry to hear that Joe O has passed.
He was the bass player on so many hit records in the '60's right up thru the '90's, both in LA and Nashville.
A founding member of The Wrecking Crew.
I was extremely fortunate to have been able to play with him a few times on some Johnny Rivers gigs.

Vaya con Dios, Joe. Enjoy the fishing up there...

God speed Superbass Joe!

We grew up listening to your contributions as you rocked the planet.

Young man rhythm's got a hold of me, too
I got the rockin' pneumonia and the boogie woogie flu

Condolences to the Osborn family.

I would always know that it was him, when I heard the first seconds of his fat tone. The Mamas and the Papas, Terry Melcher, P.F. Sloan... RIP Mr.Osborn
