I got a call from Thurmond Leache's daughter advising me that he passed away this morning at home.
Other information is not available.

I always like to visit with Thurman. His passing caught me by surprise. Prayers for his family.

I have been told Thurmon's funeral will be at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, La. Saturday...time unknown..
He will be placed beside his wife in Spring Ridge, La.

We will always remember Thurman and Maurine. Enjoyed the many hours we spent with them in the early days of the TSGA. He will always be missed just as Maurine was.
Will look forward to our next visit on the other side.

Sorry to hear about this one. A true lover of steel guitar. I rememeber playing "Danny Boy" at Maurine's funeral as his tears were rolling. His smile and excitement will be missed
