Happy Birthday to the late great James Tubby Golden. Sacred Steel legend & Hall of Fame member, James Tubby Golden is from the Cleveland, Ohio Jewell Dominion Church of the Living God.
Tubby was trained under the tutelage of Lorenzo Harrison and became one of the Sacred Steel masters of his day. Tubby & the Golden Brothers recorded on the Pacific Records label in 1971 producing two sides entitled "I Believe, and Little David." Gone but his musical influence will never be forgotten.
