I just learned from my dad that we have recently lost songwriter Kenny Beard. His credits include "Today's Lonely Fool", recorded by Tracy Lawrence.

Kenny was a long-time family friend. My dad is a bass player & drummer. When I was young, he and Kenny along with steel player Steve Melchi, and fiddler Joe Spivey all played gigs together out in Colorado.

He will be missed.
