I read on Facebook that Philip passed away. He was a member here and I'm sure he had a few friends here, so I thought I'd pass on the info. RIP Philip.

Phil will be missed here in Florida. He was a member of the Manasota Steel Guitar Club and was
a regular player at the jams. Phil was very talented
and one of the finest steel guitar musicians anywhere. He was also a good friend.

Sad news. I met him several times at the Manasota jams and he even came to a couple of the old Florida Steel Guitar Club jams.

Phil was a friend , we often exchanged emails and skype's regarding his attempted development of a Multi Tuning Cam devise he invented for laps.

I knew his health was in question for a long time now and will miss him and his playing.

Attended the services for Phil today at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Palmetto, Florida. His life was celebrated. Phil was a man of many talents in addition to his mastery of the steel guitar.

Very talented picker and a nice guy. He built a third neck for his Excel Double neck and it was a superb build. I played many jams in Palmetto with Phil. The quality of his playing was top notch. We will miss him. Prayers to his family.
