iI did a lot of business with Bobby when in San Antonio over the years-i still have a 1955 GibsonES-350N and a Fender Model 26 amp in walnut I purchased years ago at his house before he headed up to one of the guitar shows in Dallas-my sidekick on that visit was pedal steel guitarist Jon Graboff and he always remembers that visit-Bobby was a great story teller, warm, hospitable, funny and just a great guy to hang out with--i'll miss him

The thing I remember most about Bobby was that it was sooooo hard to get a price from him on anything he had for sale,,,LOL I have never understood how he was so successful at the music store on Hildebran(?)....getting an "asking price" was like pulling teeth.

About 20-25 years ago I was into vintage guitars and he advertised that he had some for sale. I met with him and he told me that he did not have what he thought he had,,,,seems his son or someone had "siphoned" them off without his knowledge,,,he was pretty upset!
