Bret Short

Post by Steve Allison »

It is with profound sorrow that my band brother and good friend Bret Short has passed away. He has played guitar as a band member and numerous recordings with a lot of big names such as David Allen Coe, Johnny Paycheck, Leon Everett, Bertie Higgins, and in various
groups all over Georgia and the southeast with me. I will have more on arrangements as I get them. Please keep his family in thoughts and prayers.
God bless....

Absolutely, Steve. Tommy and I are big fans of his son, Cody. I can imagine how hard this is on him. My sincere condolences to his band family, as well as his personal family.

Thank you all. In lieu of flowers any monetary donations will be accepted to the Bret Short memorial fund. I have no idea yet who is responsible for that contact.
