"When I`ve Gone The Last Mile" Bishop Ron Hall

Post by Bishop Ronnie P Hall »

To my brothers and sisters on this forum.
After serving in ministry 48 years, of which 39 of them to the present time, in the pastorate, I have had the honor of performing what is known as a "home going service". In the performing of this honor, I have always felt in my heart, that one day, all of us will see, and be, with our loved ones once again. And hopefully,(according to whatever your belief structure may be.)It will be a glorious time of reuniting once again. With all respect, I present this as a song of comfort, to all who have felt the pain of losing their loved ones, and gently kindly remind them that one day we all will be united once again.
Look up, be blessed!

Timely posting for me Bishop Hall. Spent the afternoon at the funeral home visiting with the Rooks family and musician friends. Another old friend has crossed over.

I draw comfort and inspiration from your beautiful rendering of this song. Thank you sir.

Hello Bro. Ron,
THANK You for that beautiful rendition "The Last Mile Of The Way" .
My Sweetheart went on home 13 years ago last month . I am ,and have been ready to join her since.
I turned 92 last week .So I feel it won't be too long".
I guess my favorite "Gospel song" is "HE Touched Me". OR else "Amazing Grace".
I pick both on My six string "Supro".
THANK YOU ,again for "Last Mile".

Hi brother Thurston(Myers)
I understand the feeling of great loss, and feeling of loneliness. But as you said, " I am ready to join her". I just wanted you to know, she knows this also, but the time is not yet, in the meantime please continue to praise "Him", until the "Glory Bound Train", comes for us all. Also, I believe we all, would like to hear your renditions on the "Supro". Maybe you could bless "Us" with your praises on this forum. I will be yet praying for you, and your thoughts about your "sweetheart". Be blessed my dear friend. It is always good to hear from you.

Hello! Brother Jerry (Overstreet)
Always good to hear from you also as well. Wow! talk about co-incidental, I too just spent the afternoon at a "home going service," for a dear neighbor, and beloved friend, who has crossed over. I am truly thankful, that my efforts of this song, helped to comfort, and inspire you, and myself as well. Yes, myself as well, I feel that the road is getting shorter each day also. But, it is also road we must all travel. Thanks, my friend, for your encouragement, May the Lord continue to smile upon you, and yours, be blessed!

Hello! My Sister Donna! (Dodd)
I am very pleased with your encouragement. I`m just a pastor who is just trying to help you in a sense of ministry. As I have read the many, many requests for prayer, and needed listening ears, I feel a way to sort of pitch in, and maybe give a little help to what you face everyday, that would be an encouragement, to help those who mourn, or have a loss of independence, who face melancholia, and so forth. I`m one, who is not looking for fame, and or fortune, I`m just trying to help uplift a down trodden spirit, and bring a little sunshine in a tough time of life. Let me also thank you for your tolerance, in allowing me to post a few melodies for the same. If by any means I am breaking any protocol or rule, please let me know, I wont be offended, Iam just trying to help out with a few melodies, to help someone else to look up and live. The warmest of respect to you, and your loved ones. Be Blessed,
Ron
