Video Controller for Firefox
1) I DO NOT have Flash installed...
I'm looking for a way to control the video content on webpages in Firefox (such as news sites, without loosing the ability to play videos (such as YouTube) when I want to do so.
I've tried FlashBlock and StopTube, and short of disabling them, I can't play a video at will.
Suggestions?

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

At the top of my list of annoying things on the web is when I open a bunch of tabs in Firefox, and all the video content in them starts playing - all at once. Truly annoying.
I've been enjoying the Firefox add-on Flash-Control v2.0.7 (Bluesky) a while now, it seems to do the job. It controls not only Flash, but HTML5, which is becoming the more prevalent format. With Flash-Control enabled, anytime I open a web page containing either format, I only see a video place-holder with an "F" icon inside it. If I click the "F", the video plays. If I don't, which is what usually happens, I can browse in peace and quiet.

One of my biggest pet peeves. Facebook also does this with embedded videos (and at full volume). The web design world has pretty much concluded that having video or audio auto play, is bad web design. You may have your volume turned up because you were rocking out to some tunes. Then the site you visit has media auto play and blasts you across the room because you weren't expecting it. I have many pairs of soiled undies to back up my statements. At the top of my list of annoying things on the web is when I open a bunch of tabs in Firefox, and all the video content in them starts playing - all at once. And when you are on a limited service, such as cellular or satellite, it eats data...
