Brad Rigby

Post by Mickey Adams »

My longtime friend has passed away at his home in Michigan.
Brad and I played together many many nights in the Tampa Bay Area.
Friday afternoon he apparently had a major stroke. He passed away shortly after being found by a neighbor, unresponsive in hs front yard. Brad was a fine steel player, and a good friend.. We will all miss you here on Earth Brad.... Mickey..

Wow, this was a shock to hear this news. I have known Brad for several years now and had the pleasure of jamming with him several times. I remember the jams at his place in Lincoln. Also Brad was on two of our HSGA shows and on the Middle Creek shows too. A fine Steel guitarist. We will miss him for sure.
My condolences to the family.
The 2015 HSGA Christmas party will be dedicated to the memory of Brad Rigby.
R.I.P. Brad, and we will jam again in a different place.

I, along with others, was shocked to hear this news! I also knew Brad, having met and jammed with him in the late '80s / early '90s in the Tampa Bay area. Prayers and condolences for his family and friends!
Rest in peace!

I met Brad several years ago at his place in Lincoln. He was hosting a Jeff Newman seminar. I stayed that night to hear him play in his band. He was a very friendly person. He was easy to talk to and even took the time to explain one of his licks that caught my attention. Very sorry to hear of his passing. Dale

I'm sure sorry to hear of this. I liked Brad. He was a real good guy, a good player, had a lot of ambition and was not afraid to jump in to a venture with both feet. Rest in peace.
