Jeannie Fishwick RIP

Post by Marty Neer »

I received a call from Butch Fishwick Friday telling me that Jeannie had passed away Thursday.
Jeannie and Butch were from the Tulsa OK area and were involved with OSGA Oklahoma assc. many years ago. Visitation is set for Sunday 3/8/15 from 2pm to 6pm at the Britton-Bennett funeral home in Steelville MO. Services to be held Monday at the Britton-Bennett funeral home Monday 3/9/15 at 11am.
The funeral home does have a website with obituary information. RIP Jeannie

We send our deepest sympathies to Butch and family. As mentioned by Marty, Butch and Jeannie hosted one of the largest Steel Shows in this area in the OSGA's history.

I grew up with Butch and only recently knew he played Steel. I met Jeannie last year at the Merrimac Opry in Steelville where we grew up. Although I don't know her well she seemed like a very sweet lady. Sorry for your loss Butch.
RIP Jeanie.

Sorry to hear about Jeannie. Viv and I have known Butch and Jeannie for several years and although we haven't seen them for quite some time we consider them as very good friends. Jeannie was one of the very few life time members of the Oklahoma Steel Guitar Association. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Butch and family. Clovis & Vivian
