Don Ferguson has left us Honea Path SC

As we all know, there are 1000's of folks who just love Pedal Steel Guitar Music. Don Ferguson was one of those guys.
Well into his 80's, he would make the pilgrimage to St. Louis with a crew from the local small town, Honea Path SC each year.
Don didn't play steel, only loved the instrument like many of us do with an exponential zeal.
Every Monday night, usually, there are at least 8-10 folks from around the area would gather at Tommy "Freck" Richeys house to hone our skills and have fun.
Don Ferguson was there most of those times. Having his cane by his side, he would be ready to talk and have fun drinking coffee.
I always enjoyed bantering with Don and I will certainly miss him next time we play on Monday night.
His favorite song was Farewell Party....each time I attempt to play it, I will think of Don Ferguson.
RIP Brother...you will be missed.
