My mother passed away

Post by Marco Schouten »

Last night my mother passed away in her sleep. She had been ill for 6 months, in and out of the hospital 5 times.
She loved the steel guitar and she attended several steel guitar meeting with me.

I will miss her...

Marco, so many of us here know how hard this is for you and your family.

I lost me mother in a similar manner as she was sick for a year before she passed on. We knew it was best for her but missed her terribly. Still do, but our pain eased over time.

Do know she will always be with you, especially when you are playing steel guitar. steve t

My condolences, Marco. I have found playing music to be a great healer of pain. So keep picking.
