Jack Sondermeyer as former lead engineer for Peavey's analog products including amps like the CS800, and many more, helped design the amplifier industry.

In the 1980s, every country band in the Centex area had a PA system with at least one CS800, and generally two; one for the mains and one for the monitors. Made us junk our Shure Vocal Masters.
