It is my sad duty to inform those of you who knew him that Dave Burley has passed on, at 2:00 am on 11/16/2014 in the hospital in Indiana...A memorial service will be held in his home town of Muskegon, Michigan on 11/23/2014 at the Lakes Nazarene Church at 3:00 pm, with visitation at 2:00 pm he will be greatly missed by me and many others.

Oh, no. I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Dave was a great, long-time supporter of steel guitar. What was the cause of death? He will be missed. RIP, Dave.

Rip Dave,

I just bought his Steel Guitar Jam Cd from Doug Jernigan about 3 hours ago at the PSGA show in Norwalk.

My condolences to his family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear about Dave Burley passing on. I always loved his posts and he really contributed a lot to the promotion of the PSG. The shows he put on and the cd's were great. My condolences go out to his family and friends. May He RIP!
