Archie Ward has passed.

Post by Eddie Thomas »

A good friend and steel playing buddy, Archie Ward has passed. I got a call from his wife, JoAnne, earlier today bearing this news to me. I am so thankful, that I spoke with him just a few days ago. He was a good friend and I have learned many licks from him. It is a sad day for me. Rest in peace ole' friend.

So sad to hear this. Archie was a friend and he was one of the good guys. We used to jam at his little studio outback and always had a great time.
Go rest high on that mountain Archie, we will miss you.
Prayers for the family going out.
