search function

I am struggling with the search function on my PC at work. When I hit the search function I no longer get the forum search page with the options to choose where I'd like to search, I only get a google based search bar which doesn't seem to be very helpful.
I believe I can still get the forum based search page from my MAC at home.
I am sure there must be something I am not doing right, any suggestions?

Jay, I'm fairly certain you must log on the Forum to reach the search feature page you're looking for.

Log in first, then the search function will let you choose the sub-forum to search.

I never noticed this before, since I don't use the "search function" on the forum much. But today, after reading this thread, I see the words (and a dead link to) "search function" in the top center of the page where the forum section should be.

A separate link to the "search function" appears in the group of links at the top right of the page, and it does open a search page. Very strange.

I usually had my computer set to log me on automatically but apparently that got turned off somehow and I didn't notice it. That seems to be the source of the problem noted above--all better now! Thanks guys!
