My new book, GUITAR DREAMS, is now available
My new book is now out in hardcover with full color throughout. I just got the first couple of author copies today!
I'll have about 20 copies to sign & sell in about two weeks or you can order it now directly from Hal Leonard or Amazon.
The book includes articles that first ran in Fretboard Journal & Acoustic Guitar plus others that are published here for the first time. There are interviews with, and essays about, steel guitarists, standard guitarists, luthiers, and even a uke and a banjo player. My goal with the photos in the book was to tap into the pleasure we first had in learning about instruments and players - before we knew or cared about model names and other details. The artists and instruments simply sparked our imagination. That's why none of the photos is captioned. You can look up the details for all of them in the photo credits, but I wanted first impressions to carry more than facts. You can see the table of contents on Hal Leonard's site:

Roger, you can order from Hal Leonard, Amazon, Barnes & Noble (or from me in about two weeks, when I'll have about 20 copies on hand to sign & sell for $35. My PayPal ordering page will be up then).
Though they created this typo in the description: virtuoso nylong string guitarist, Amazon Prime has the best deal at 24% off list:
