George singing an old Eddy Arnold classic, with an extensive steel solo. Unfortunately there are only close ups of the player. It is not Little Roy Wiggins and not Jerry Byrd. Maybe Don Davis who was with George for some time. Or Billy Robinson? Any ideas?

HELLO WALTER,

I would say without a doubt that it's DON DAVIS. I've seen him before on these barn dance shows playing his D-8 steel guitar on his lap.

I agree. Saw some other videos with Don Davis, looks it is the same guitar.
