Larry Owen
Just found out today that my friend, Larry Owen of Saginaw, MI. passed away suddenly on June 26. Larry took up the steel guitar late in life and tried to learn as much as he could, as fast as he could, to play an instrument that he truly loved. He and I spent many hours together going over licks, techniques, and of course, the Jeff Newman material. The 2014 TSGA was the last time we were together. Larry is on the left in the photo. You will be missed, my friend.
