Funeral information from Local 257; American Federation of Musicians (Weldon was a lifetime member):

"Funeral services and visitation for Weldon Myrick will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Chapel on Highway 100 in Nashville.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m.; and on Friday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The service will immediately follow the Friday visitation at 12 p.m. in the chapel."

I wish that it was possible for me to attend this service. I noticed there are 3 visitations which really speaks volumes to me about Weldon. He knew and had the respect of many people. Another legend has crossed over and joined many other great steel players.
