We have released our New GeorgeBoard 2014 Series Single 8 String Lap Steel Guitars. I make them Personally here in Oklahoma USA.

I have 8 Production Samples to be sold at 1/2 of their List Price -- As always, first, to my forum friends.

These Production Samples are 22.5 Scale Solid Bodies with Book Matched Figured Exotoic KOA and Walnut Tops - Each has Edge Banding.

My Original Single Coil Alnico 5 Pickup Over Wound with Copper Shielding, CTS Pots - Orange Drop .047 Tone Cap , Inlayed Chrome Control Knobs.

360 Brass Nut and Bridge CNC Precision Machined including 3/8 Spacing Bridge with Graduated V-Groove Depths for Extra Smooth Playability.
Buffed - Polished and Nickel Plated, with Chrome 3/4" Screws to hold them down and add sustain.

String Through Design with our Decorative attachment plate made of aircraft aluminum dense plastic aluminum sandwich material which adds even more sustain.

These Production Samples have minor irregularities - cosmetic only and insignificant.

I have had excellent results with my Georgeboard S8. So much so that it looks like an S6 is in my near future. The metal sandwich is a technique used by Sierra. They get amazing tone and sustain out of it. My Georgeboard didn't have this. So it looks like things are getting even better.
