I admit I found the name of the singer when I googled "Who'll Buy My Memories"... Joe Carson. Maybe the steel player is Ralph Mooney?

Yes, the singer is Joe Carson who is almost forgotten these days. He died in a car accident in 1964. The steel player on this track is SGHOF member Walter Haynes.
