Thanks, y'all! I've wanted to record an album like this for a long time, so I'm really happy to hear some kind words about it. Steven, I'm in Austin. Love to meet fellow steelers!

Right now I only have physical CDs at my shows, but I'll put them on CD baby, if there's any interest. You can dcwnload the album at all the typical places (itunes, google play, amazon, CD Baby). I thought I was the only one who still liked CDs!

Yep! That's the stuff, alright! I don't know why people with pedals can't play like that, but no foolin' -
"I just won't use the pedals, of course I can play like that!"
beep, beep, beep...
"Umm... when?"

I'll buy a CD as soon as you make some, just please don't cut 'em with the information-starved "Mp3" format, it's like listening to the clanking of the shadow cast by a skeleton, IYKWIM. A dead one, at that.

Yeah, David, mostly you do hear that style on non-pedal these days, which is what I used on that song. Several songs on the album are on my fender 1000 pedal steel, though, so somebody is doing it! :) I did a couple of songs in C6 (I've since switched to A6 for pedal steel), and some are in my 5-pedal Ralph Mooney tuning. I'll try to get more posted soon, and make those cds available. Thanks so much, y'all, for checking it out!
