Everything to like about this clip. Ashley bearing down, Paul touching all the bases (what a tone), and for good measure, my guitar hero Jimmy Capps back there.

It's a good cd too. Paul plays some good steel on it and a little dobro.

Ms Monroe can sing, can't she???

I haven't heard of her before but, if she's a successful and 'current' artist, surely she has all the qualities anyone - even the most diehard 'classic country fan' - could want?

I do hope there was no technical trickery involved; that was a good performance by everyone concerned.

Thanks Ron. It is refreshing to know there is still some "real country" being played out there! Not just pop with cliche, a hick accent, fiddle, and Pedal Steel. Thank you, thank you. I am instantly a new fan of Ashley Monroe! And of course Paul is one of the best! No doubt.

Thanks Clete! That does help.
There's a LOT of style to be learned from this video.
Maybe in a year or two I will know the solo, too!
